Palazzo by the Sea

My family visits the beach every year in August. It’s always around 30+ of us. This year we booked a little late due to different circumstances. I spoke with Ellen at 850 vacation rental and she was amazing! From the beginning to the time we checked in Ellen was always there to answer our questions and do whatever she could to accommodate. Our mother is 94 years old and cannot climb the stairs like she used to. Palooza by the Sea had an elevator and my mom was able to go up to every floor and view the house. The house was immaculate!! There was enough space to for the 34 of us! The furnishings in the house were beautiful! The pool was super clean! Everything we needed was at the house and my family had the best time ever!! Thank you 850 vacation rental for everything that you did!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Palazzo By the Sea. It was a beautiful space with plenty of room for our extended family trip and only a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the large kitchen/ family room area for meals & games & the double ovens & 2 dishwashers came in handy. We were there early July & The first few days were extremely hot making it difficult to use the pool & outdoor spaces as the small pool got hot quickly in the sun. I was worried we wouldn’t be able to use it but learned early mornings and late evenings made good swim times and by day 3 the temps dropped into upper 80’s / lower 90’s cooling down the water & enjoyed time in it more the second half of the week. just something to be aware of when booking dates. The ocean was beautiful & clear in this area! We had some issues the first night/ morning with fire alarms beeping & going off when we tried to reset them but maintenance responded & came and resolved the issue for us when i asked them to. We also had some confusion on property amenities being told the house had a pack n play and keurig when it didn’t that created some challenges so recommend when you email questions being specific about the property name might have helped? We did love the ice machine! and lots of sand and pool toys, beach chairs & floats available as well as corn hole that we enjoyed.- being a new rental I understand some things get added as feedback is given. Overall it was a great space. Might be good to rent a golf cart if you have older people during hot summer months but we just dropped them off at beach with our car.

We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo by the Sea very much! The property was well maintained and provided all the space we needed. Everyone was very comfortable. We will definitely book vacations with you again!!

We visit Destin every year but this year was different as more than 20 people joined us and this house was able to accommodate us all. Everyone had a bed and own bathroom. It was over all an awesome experience. Maintenance guy texted us to make sure we didn’t need anything and was very fast at responding when we had questions! This house is a short walk from the beach and in a very peaceful neighborhood!!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you for the best experience!! Date of arrival - May 30, 2024

Perfectly located. Could walk to the beach in 5 minutes and Stinky’s fish camp. The public beach access was so nice yet the beaches weren’t overly crowded. Good appliances and plenty of room for my family.

Highly recommend this lovely home! It was spotless. The game room is perfect for kids. It is a short walk to the beach. The wagon and eight beach chairs made it easy to relax at the beach. Excellent communication from the rental staff - very clear and easy check in and check out information.
