Aquamare

This was a family vacation with 11 adults, 5 teenagers, 3 preteens and a 4 year old . We found this house to be very accommodating. The kitchen was nice . Big pantry closet , several pots and pans. Could use some mixing bowls and kitchen towels. Refrigerator was good size and we had a small drink fridge. Separate ice maker but we had to still buy ice due to our usage. Large island. Stools were not comfortable to sit on . Dinning room table was big enough for most of us to eat at and overflow sat in living room. Outside pool was great . Loved the lights at night . We had it heated which was wonderful! We all enjoyed the pool day and night ! Almost all lounge chairs by pool were broken . I think we had two we could use . They have ordered new we were told but we didn’t get to see them . Picnic table was great and the lights on the pergola. Although the lights on pergola are plugged in via a cord on laying top of ground in the grassy area plugged in behind sofa on back porch. Seems like that could be a hazard. They do have buggy for beach and beach chairs. All of which need to be updated . Walk to beach isn’t bad but no sidewalk makes it a little rough . We took turns driving someone down with stuff then picking them up later . Golf cart would be nice but we didn’t want to pay extra for that . Main floor bedroom was nice . 2nd floor has 3 king rooms. One of those rooms does not have its own bathroom or closet . There is a bathroom right outside that room in the hallway. None of the bedrooms have any dressers including the bunk rooms . So your living out of your suitcase all week for the most part . Bathrooms were all nice . There’s a half bath on main floor which is handy . 2nd floor has a large washing and dryer. They really need two washers and dryer’s. There’s another pullout couch in game room and a trundle if needed . Some bedrooms do not have ceiling fans . Ellen at 850 vacations was great ! She was able to get us in a few hours early the day we arrived which made our day ! The pool heater was no working when we got there but she informed us it would be fixed and it was done right away. We also had a problem with the air on main level and back door issues but all of these things were taken care of . Overall we had a wonderful vacation! The house fit our needs very well ! We made a lot of great memories!

It was a great stay close enough to walk to the beach and the kids loved the pool and bunk rooms. Very enjoyable Date of arrival - October 4, 2021

We had 23 in our group, 8 kids 15 adults, and it was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms to have our own space, not too far from the beach, close enough to everything in Destin, pool is a nice size. We loved that every room (minus bunk rooms) had king beds and their own bathroom (except one room). We would definitely book again! Date of arrival - September 30, 2021

A total of 5 families stayed and we all loved it! The beach is right down the street and the walk there was enjoyable! Definitely will be back next year!

This was a family and friends time to Celebrate the Life of our daughter who passed away from injuries in a car accident. It was just what we all needed to laugh and cry together. Your home was spacious, clean and comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. A little hick-up with the air conditioner and dishwasher but service people where there to fix within a half hour. The staff at 850 was fantastic!. We would love to come back again someday. Carol

Great house with plenty of bedrooms and baths for everyone. We had 5 family couples and 6 kids. The beds were very comfortable and the great showers! The pool was very nice and well maintained for a salt water pool. We only had one thing the house needs to change out is the lounge chairs by the pool. They are a plastic and starting to fall apart. Other than that great place. I will use again.

We brought 26 girls for their Senior Trip! Plenty of room, beds, and bathrooms. House was well stocked with plenty of towels, pots, pans, utensils. Very helpful staff at 850 Vacations!!!

This house was absolutely amazing, I would buy it if I could thats how much we all loved it. It accommodated 6 couples perfectly with plenty of room to spare. Every room has its own bathroom except for 1 which did not pose a problem. The weather was perfect but I would recommend getting the pool heated if going during late spring/early summer. If you want to participate in water activities on the beach, plan ahead as they book really fast. Want to stay here again in the future

The house was amazing!!!! Very spacious, beautiful decor & clean. All the amenities you needed were there along with the private pool!!! The location was excellent, close to grocery stores, shopping outlets & only about a 3min walk to the beach!!! I’ll definitely be booking this home again. It was a one stop shop!!

Aquamare was super great for our large family! The kids especially enjoyed the heated pool even on the rainy days. We had lots of space to spread out and beds for all. The separate ice maker and drink fridge were so helpful. Lots of parking was also nice to have. Friendly and helpful staff to work with. Check in was effortless. They could use some beach towels however so we didn’t all have to pack them. Otherwise everyone in our crew agreed it was a super great trip! Thank you 850 vacations!!
